Saffron Academy, in partnership with The People’s Hub and Job Centre plus, recently delivered 4 day pre-employment programmes in Newquay, Bude, Penzance and Bodmin, with great success.
The pre-employment programme was specifically focussed on hospitality related topics and included a Level 2 Award in Food Safety or Customer Service, plus Challenge 25, how to work within a team, employment law, CV writing, mock interviews and interview preparation, ready for a guaranteed interview with an employer at the end of the programme.
Each Job Centre invited candidates onto the programme via their job coach and they thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Several candidates now have jobs as a result of taking part and are extremely thankful for the confidence, knowledge and experience gained from being on the programme.
