Last Thursday 18th November we held the First Aid for Mental Health course at the Victoria Inn, Roche. The course gives an insight into various mental health issues and illnesses. The course opens up conversations on mental health and you go away with your eyes wide open and realise that mental health issues are varied and not always related to diagnosed illnesses.
If you are responsible for Health & Safety in the Workplace or First Aid in the Workplace, you should add this Level 2 course to your toolkit. It gives you all the information you need to put together your action plans for mental health and signposts you to legislation you need to be aware of around Mental Health.
Well done to the participants from the Bowgie Inn at Crantock and the Victoria Inn at Roche on successfully completing the course.
